I have looked over the site and found it to very helpful.  Most of all I enjoyed the wikis, forums and rate my floristry work in the gallery.  I think it is a great idea to set up a world wide community of florists.  I can see this site becoming a place where florists come to share ideas, information and stories.

I have a suggestion for the site.  You should encourage well known authors and designers to add blogs so week can read them.  Maybe even set up a weekly newsletter so we get emailed regular information on the bloomsta site.

The comments about the rules for for using the forum look like they still need some work.
I am hoping it doesn't get filled up with spam and advertising

Hi Clunyrd,

Thanks for your concern over the forum rules and especially spam and other advertising.  The team at Bloomsta have not only updated the forum rules to prevent adverts (without prior consent from the Bloomsta team) but have also stated that any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, pornographic, profane or otherwise offensive information or material is also not welcome on the forums.  If this information appears it will be immediately removed by the Bloomsta team.  Further to this there is in place spam preventing software which prevents spam from making its way into the forums.  I hope this alleviates all of your concerns.  If you have any further questions please post them below.

The Bloomsta Team Smiley

I don't know if it is my computer but the spell check in the forum comes up in a small screen and I have to scroll all the time - quite annoying.  I tend to use the spell checker in the Google bar or FireFox instead because of that.
