We get a lot of orders from Interflora, as well as quality posters.
2  General Category / Australian General Discussion / Re: Secretary Week April 22-28th What to give??? on: April 17, 2008, 05:01:53 PM
April 25th Secretaries Day? I don't think so. There is already a much more important event on this day and as it's a public holiday very few secretaries will be at work.

Wont the flowers be completely trashed by the time they get to the end? Flowers are very fragile and couldn't possibly be packed in any way to guarantee they look the same when they arrive as they did when they left. Why would anybody want to do this when they could just call a florist near to where they want the flowers sent?

Go to the DOCEP website (if you are in Australia) and it will tell you what the minimum award conditions are. You can pay your staff this, or just use it as a base if you want to above award (minimum) rates

I'm sure florists-in-training would find this useful but I don't need other people to tell me I'm great.

Fresh flowers are definately much nicer. Part of the beauty of flowers is that they are a living thing, created by nature. I would very surprised if there were ANY professional florists who would actually prefer artificial flowers. What would you prefer a tree, or a painting of a tree?
